It looks like Google just added a tiny update to the administration side of Google Apps. They’ve added a way for admins to be alerted of suspicious user activity, among other things.

Here’s the current list of configurable email alerts:

  1. Suspicious login activity
  2. User suspended
  3. New user added
  4. Suspended user made active
  5. User deleted
  6. User’s password changed
  7. User granted Admin privilege
  8. User’s Admin privilege revoked
  9. Drive settings changed
  10. Calendar settings changed
  11. GMail settings changed
  12. Mobile settings changed

While the data has already been available via the admin logs, piping some of this to email could offer some more immediate visibility.

The settings are currently available within the admin console by going to Reports, Alerts.
