Ever been in Google Chrome / Chromium / Canary and received, incessantly, the following question?
Google Chrome wants to use your confidential information stored in “accounts.google.com (Passwords not saved)” in your keychain.
Do you want to allow access to this item?
The root of this issue lays in Keychain Access. Try this:
- Open Keychain Access (Applications > Utilities > Keychain Access)
- Look for an entry similar to:
- Name: accounts.google.com (Passwords not saved)
- Kind: Web form password
- Date: X
- Expires: —
- Keychain: login
- Delete it
- Confirm that you want to delete it
- Close Keychain
That’s it. Hopefully this will help a lot of people out there.
